Solid Tables but color in picture are not accurate

The tables are very solid and well constructed. The wood tone is a couple of shades darker than what is presented but beautiful.

The faux slate on my tables was not as advertised. Rather than a light tan/blue tone, they are dark grey/black tone. These will work in my room but not what I thought I was getting. Both of my tables came with scratches and stains on the slate top. I have contacted Magnussen to determine if the repair is something I can manage easily or if I need to return all of them. They are small defects but at the price paid, I should not have to perform any repair.

I ordered 5 matching tables, 3 from Amazon, and 2 at a local store here. I went totally on price. These are very nice tables. Made from heavy hard-wood and tile top. The 2 from the local store were delivered totally assembled, and were placed where I wanted them in my living room by the delivery people. The 3 I ordered from Amazon had to be assembled (which I was not expecting). We spent close to 2 hours assembling the tables (which is almost an automatic fight between myself and my husband). It went fairly well, and thank goodness there were no missing parts, and everything matched up pretty well! I like the looks of these tables, but maybe paid too much for what I got...
