Wide base, strong magnets.

These bookends have a wide, solid base with a strong magnet. I use it in my garage on top of a metal toolbox to hold manuals. It works great, and doesn't slip.

Very sturdy magnetic base

Bought these because I needed some bookends to hold up binders in a metal bookcase at work. I was suprised at how sturdy the magnetic part is, and have not been disappointed. Like the clean lines, as well, without the bookends looking too industrial.
